ANSWERS

1)Elaborate how we can tell agents what to do without telling them to do?

--> Agents have a stronger sense of autonomy than objects, and they can choose whether or not to perform an action in response to a request from another agent. Agents also are smart because its flexible in their behaviour (reactive, proactive, and social)  and for the behaviour , as the object-oriented model says nothing about this sort of thing.

2) Describe the mechanism we can use to measure the agents' outcome, whether the agent is doing the right thing. Give example for each mechanism.
-->Agents include AI assistants such as Alexa and Siri, which use sensors to detect a user's request and automatically collect data from the internet without the user's assistance. They can be used to collect information about the environment it perceives, such as the weather and the time.

3) Based on your answer in (2), discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each mechanism.

ALEXA

Advantages

Alexa can play music, give you information, deliver news and sports scores, tell you weather, control youor smart home.

Limitation

The most commonly reported Amazon Alexa disadvantages are mishearing, slow response, and bloatware connection drops. Music also is a problem for Alexa and Alexa stops responding to your voice on occasion.

SIRI

Advantages

Siri can use the low-power mode or the do-not-disturb mode. Siri can also answer questions, send emails or texts, set an alarm, make a reservation at your favourite restaurant, provide directions to a location, and much more.

Limitation

Siri's biggest flaw is its reliance on a constant Internet connection. Because all voice commands are relayed through Apple's servers before returning to the phone, Siri requires Internet access to function. Siri will be unable to recognise any voice commands if it is unable to access the Internet.
